A Cultural Visionary
Born and raised in Botswana, Mosako Chalashika has seamlessly fused his love for street sport and comfort into his leisure brand, ‘Knuckleheads’. Through this collaborative endeavor, he brings to life the essence of the skateboarding culture that has captivated his heart.

Skateboarding Pioneer
As a professional skateboarder, Mosako’s journey led him to Lagos, Nigeria, where he has been at the forefront of a movement to elevate the recognition of skateboarding across the African continent. He has dedicated years to this cause, working tirelessly to amplify the sport’s significance and impact.
Beyond the Board
Mosako’s influence stretches beyond the skateboarding community. He plays an integral role at Waffles and Cream(WAF), the first skate company in West Africa that is based in Nigeria. He produces skate films that capture the essence of the sport and its vibrant culture.
Shaping the Future
With an eye fixed on developing the sport further in Botswana, Mosako aims to construct a state-of-the-art professional concrete skatepark in Gaborone. This collaborative project caters to the local community in addition to fostering an environment for extreme sports enthusiasts to flourish. Skateboarding as a sport has grown and gained recognition as an Olympic sport. Mosako envisions the skate park to be a training ground for future Botswana athletes on the global stage.
A Multifaceted Creative
Mosako’s talents go beyond skateboarding and community initiatives, He has modeled alongside Grammy-winning artist Tems in an ad for Tommy Hilfiger.. His flair for photography vividly captures the raw essence of skating culture, offering glimpses into the alternative culture both in Lagos and Botswana.
