Due to the retirement of the current Principal, the Council of Maru-a-Pula School is inviting applications from innovative and forward thinking educationists for the post of PRINCIPAL OF MARU-A-PULA SCHOOL
Maru-a-Pula (MaP) is one of Africa’s leading secondary schools. It is co-educational, offering day-school and boarding, and offering Cambridge IGCSE and AS/A Levels to 800 enrolled students, two thirds of whom are Botswana citizens and one third expatriates from over 30 countries. The founding Principal launched the school on non-racial ideals, with community outreach as a core principle. In addition, MaP has prioritised the provision of financial aid to selected, academically capable pupils who would otherwise not be able to afford to attend the school. MaP students are characteristically socially aware, ambitious, hardworking and eager to engage; their energy is matched by teachers who are passionately committed to ensuring that our pupils succeed!
