On Tuesday, 21st November, MaP’s Maths Department hosted a competition for Standard Five students. The competition consisted of ten challenges, from basic maths to 3D puzzles, problem-solving and orientation skills, and even a flight simulator. Nine teams battled to take home the first prize of cinema tickets and a MaP bag. In the end, Northside Primary School took the top two places, with Thornhill taking home bronze. All participants went home with certificates and a fun time was had by all!
Maru-a-Pula would like to thank Botlhale, Thornhill and Northside for their teachers’ support in this competition.
