Farewell to Mr Graham Creighton

Mr and Mrs Creighton

After four years of service, teaching History and English, as well as coaching the U17 rugby team, Mr Graham Creighton and his family bade farewell to MaP. In an emotional assembly on June 28th, students shared their farewell messages with him:
Aishani Ittan (4K): “I am highly honoured to be given the chance to deliver this speech. We have all gathered here to bid farewell to our exceptional mentor, coach and teacher, Mr Creighton.
The time I spent in your history classroom made me realize that you are, no doubt, one of the most knowledgeable and respectful teachers I have ever met. Thank you! I would never have chosen or loved History the way I do if it wasn’t for you.”
Boago Chabaesele (4K): “All the memories we shared with you will always be glued in our hearts. You made life bearable. You have been a great friend and mentor to me. I appreciate those times in the boarding house when you were like a father to me. Mr Creighton you are one reason school is so much fun. We will miss you. Tsamaya sentle.”
In a heartfelt speech, Mr Creighton said, “MaP hasn’t just been a place of work for me; it’s been my home. You’ve embraced my family and I thank you dearly for that. This is where my children’s first memories will always be. It is where Andy took his first steps; where Thomas learned to ride his bicycle and where we got our first dog. All of these experiences are something that you have shared with us.”.
