On Friday, June 7th, Leungo, Lame, Muhammed, Bogosi and I had the honour of attending the Botswana Stock Exchange opening ceremony, “the Ringing of the Bell”, where the Minister of Tertiary Education, Research, Science and Technology, Honourable Thapelo Olopeng, officiated. This involved ringing the bell, which indicates the commencement of trading for the day. They also announced that they will be holding the annual BSE Senior Secondary Schools Finance and Investment competition, in which we will be participating. We are looking forward to competing and attempting to beat the current champions, Lobatse Senior Secondary School. Attending this prestigious event was an enriching experience and we are all looking forward to the competition in August.
